The Wedding Postponed! August 8
Cold Feet you ask?  Band member changes forced The Wedding to postpone their performance at the Murray Hill Theatre on August 8.  Fear Not The Wedding is planning  to walk down the Isle Of Rock at The Murray Hill Theatre sometime in September.  We will keep you posted on the new date. Online ticket buyers for the August 8 show can use their tickets for the new September date -when confirmed.

Happy New Year from The MHT.  We are excited about a great year around here. First off We want to say goodbye to a couple of Murray Hill Theatre staffers.  Brandi Gonzales has been the MHT office manager, Rock manager and volunteer coordinator for over 4 years.  She is moving to a new job and new position.  We are excited for her and excited that she will still be volunteer here at The Hill. Nathan Fuller is a long time volunteer and currently our facilities manager.  Nathan is going to school full time know and is stepping down.  He also will still be around to rock out with us as a volunteer.  We Welcome Angel Marie Ashley (office manager/promotions coordinator/volunteer coordinator), Ben Benner (Rock store manger), and Melissa Mason (intern) to our team to help us bring "Rock For The Masses" in 2007.

Local/regional unsigned bands will compete one of our 5 first Round Events (May- Sept.)  The top two bands of each first round event will move onto the Semi-finals in  Oct. / Nov.  The top four semifinalist will compete in the December finale and compete for $500 in cash + free recording time/ a professional photo session package and other prizes!! The Sophomore Attempt WINNER 2005 King Of The Hill - December 10, 2005
Congrats to The Sophomore Attempt on winning this year's competition!  TSA recieved $350 8 hours of recording studio time in The Hill Studio, and a Band photo shoot  package courtesy of Kyle Scott Photography.  Burning Regret finished as runner up.  Big thanks to Judges Scott Fravala (Vision Sound Studio/Virgin Records A&R) Chris Roli ( Story Side B management). Thanks to all the bands that competed throughout the year and the fans that supported local music and The Murray Hill Theatre. Details coming on the 2006 King Of The Hill!!
