How to get
your band booked at the Murray Hill Theatre:
Thank you for your interest in playing at the Murray
Hill Theatre! It takes a while to listen to all of the
demos (we get a lot every week) and call all the
bands that submit demos. Please follow the instructions
below and we will try respond to everybody who submits
a booking inquiry. This is a tall task so please be
patient and you also may want to try to reach a few
times. We are looking for bands/artists want to communicate
Hope through their music and art.
Local
Bands: (bands that are within a 90 mile
radius of The Murray Hill Theatre and Jacksonville FL).
Bands/Artists that play a variety of original music.
To get the ball rolling on your band/artist performance
at the Murray Hill Theatre here is what we need:
- A pastoral reference: (Pertaining to the spiritual
maturity or character of the band or individuals
in the band).
- Copy of your lyrics.
- Website URL / myspace.com link / MP3's / recorded
CD or anything else you may have that helps us know
a bit about your band.
- A solid commitment to promote your show/shows at
the Hill and work on getting as many people here as
you can to see your show.

Once we have all the info and review it we can begin
to look at dates for bookings. Regional/ Unknown
Regional
/ Unknown National Bands: (unkown/
unsigned bands that are out of the North Florida/South
Georgia area - more than 90 miles away)
We also feel a deep desire to help bands get exposure
and grow in their gifting, therefore we book unknown
bands with bands who do have significant fan bases here.
Regional bands/artists pay a $100.00 staging/ exposure
fee the first time they play to offset our costs of
showcasing bands with no following. If you draw at least
20 people exclusively coming to see you, the fee is
refunded. The Murray Hill Theatre management
does reserve the right to waive this fee at its discretion.

Bands:
We have specific contracts with each band or a booking
agency and we pay them a negotiated fee and sometime
include lodging, advertising, meals and
